"Mum" this painting lead me to think about aging a face using make-up and how faces change over time so i looked at this youtube video of Lindsey Lohan's changing face - 25 years in 60 seconds.

 

 

This video here shows you how to apply old age make-up to the face wich i thought was interesting as it is against the norm of wanting to look youthful and beautiful.

 

 

David Hockney, (born 9 July 1937) is an English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer and photographer. He is based in Bridlington, Yorkshire, and Kensington, London.
He is also an important contributor to the Pop art movement of the 1960s, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of the twentieth century
